“Stop talking about left and moderate lanes” has become commonly accepted as a take, which is good.

It doesn’t surprise me that Warren, Harris, and Buttigieg were kind of going after the same educated progressive voters (Warrenites more liberal than the rest), and I do wonder how the race would have been different with an established heavyweight consolidating that portion of the field from the beginning. It does surprise me that Beto voters don’t fit into the same mold; there really isn’t a large-enough sample size, but the tilts toward non-college, moderate, and nonwhite voters seem to be consistent.
